Afternoon all,

I'm having a little issue, where I've been given access to the entire Linux server.

Normally I can find my way around, but there is so many folders and I've tried putting them in where I thought they'd go, but it didn't work.

I'm accessing the web server via WinSCP.

If anyone can help me that'd be greatly appreciated.

I've tried putting them in var/ then creating a new folder called 'www'/ then a folder in that with the name of the website (do I have to include the .co.uk?)/then in that folder I put the index files etc..?

Cheers

When you visit the homepage of the site, what is displayed. What linux distro is the server running?

Oops! Google Chrome could not find www.*********.co.uk

It doesn't tell me the Linux distribution. Only that the OS is Linux. Or I cannot find it.

I normally just handle the designs and basic ftp, this is the first time I've had to deal with something like this.

Cheers
