Aaaaargh, this is driving me nuts. My Google skills have failed me and I can't find the magazine which had an article about them.

I'm looking for a set of studio flash which uses fluorescent tubing rather than the usual flash tubes - I recall they looked like a softbox with a load of striplights in but I can't remember the name!

They're a bit like Coolights but for photography, not video. I'm pretty sure they were flash and not continous, but maybe I've got that bit wrong...

Anyone know what I'm on about?

Yeah, they're more for continous lighting for video.

The ones I was thinking of were a very thin, flat panel that acted as a flash with softbox permanently attached. The light was diffused as standard and they run very cold making them suitable for food photography. I think they had 'barn doors' on them too, but they might have been an optional extra.

I can picture them in my mind, I just can't remember the bloody name of them or who made them!

And knowing my luck they'll turn out to be about £500 a peice or something ridiculous like that!
