STUNNING Audi Calendar - Auto Union!!!

Number 10 is looking across at Breedon Priory near Donington Park. I am guessing the car must be kept at the museum at Donington?

Probably be nice if I could see more than the top left hand corner of the picture at a time.

Lol at the photography boys crying about the processing. More clever people than you decided that this style would fit the intended tone of the calendar, i.e. evocative and dramatic whilst giving a sense of speed and heritage.

Lovely calendar.

Lovely calendar.

It's not the style itself people are complaining about but the poor implementation of it in many of the pictures.

I love how many people on the internet are photography experts these days. I think they spend too much time on technique and picking holes rather than stepping back and looking at the actual picture.

Nice calendar!

It doesn't take an expert to know that trees shouldn't glow (except maybe in Chernobyl).

Never even saw it, never crossed my mind. As has been said most people are NOT seeing what some of the people are in this thread are seeing, it doesn't interest them and they find the calendar striking and interesting as the way the software was used to present the image is not something they consider, in fact it's something very few people consider...

Cracking calendar! Who cares about some post processed photos. I think the spirit of those cars is perfectly portrayed, even more so with a glowing tree.

Me neither:confused:

I'm still confused about what the problem with the shadows are. Maybe we could ask David Bailey to come in and tell us?

Who needs David Bailey when we have about 1000 bedroom photographers on the forum?

Absolutely, everyone is a 'professional photographer' these days. Strange how few of these 'professional' photographers we have actually make enough out of it for it to be a living, eh.

It's the 21st century equivilent of the bedroom web hosting thing in the late 90's where suddenly everyone was a web hosting company because they bought a reseller account.

Same thing now with DSLR's..

All I can see is some stunning pictures. I don't care how they are made or if they are real.

I don't know where anyone here has claimed to be a 'professional' photographer?

All you've got is some car enthusiasts who are focussing on the cars and some photography enthusiasts who notice the photograhy more and have mentioned that from a photographic point of view, some of those pictures have been processed poorly. It's not like you don't come across judgemental comments related to cars from all the 'professional' mechanics and 'professional' racing drivers on here either.

Not sure why everyone is ****ing in their knickers over the whole thing :/

Because it was posted in the car forum perhaps? Just a thought, but I don't mind anyone passing comment, just don't expect many people to care about the photo editing in a car forum. ;)
