So was the pickpocket having a bad day or were the police having a bad day as it took so many of them and some security guards to catch him in the end as pointed out also in a post bellow the article.

Ok, so first the Justice Minister didnt catch him, then the off duty detective didnt catch him, then the busload of police officers didnt catch him, (whilst on the bus with him?) and eventually they managed to catch him only with the help of some security guards? How many police does it usually take to catch a single theif? He may have had no talent in the pick pocketing department in some areas such as picking the right target and avoiding detection, but in others he appears to have been quite skillfull.

The police aren't automatically faster runners; if he ran, they're going to be working even harder to catch up seeing as they're usually lugging all their equipment/PPE with them.

They got a result, I really don't see how the police warrant being called 'useless' at all. Typical.

The post is objective and not my opinion, I just think he got too light a sentance tbh.
