Ok sent my card back to the uk rma point about 10 weeks ago, played email tennis with the bod who works there reasonable feller tried to give me as much info as possible. The most I know about what has gone on with my card is it is stuffed fair enough and they are going to replace great, for a small charge which I paid before I sent the card, who cares at least I get my card. But when? what are they doing? where is the card? do they have any idea they are supposed to send a card?.

At the start of the week I phoned EQS and was put through to the guy I had been trading mail with when I was asking about my replacement card (trading not hasseling mail maybe every 8-10 days saying you know when my card is going to be here). Anyhow the guy tells me he has a good few borked X1900XTX's and Sapphire have not yet sent any, he has mailed them and they have not replied to him. What is going on?, I did a support ticket and the ticket came back to me telling me to contact EQS, ok but EQS dont know anything and the guy at EQS is now the target I guess of a great many angry mails from people waiting for replacement cards which is a shame because he seems a decent bloke and Sapphire have left him in the dark to take all the flack. One other thing he told me was they (EQS) also have a problem getting 2900 cards replaced.

Anyone else had anything like this?
 
That's why I buy from OCUK :)

Great replacement system.. apart from a few hiccups which they finally sorted out for me.
 
Something dont sound right here really. I mean fair enough if it takes a week or 2 longer then expected - but 10 WEEKS!! Not acceptable...

Im sure if you stop being a nice guy and start laying down the law a bit, you'll get a lot more questions answered mate
 
I posted to the Sapphire forum basicly the same wording and they just deleted it, think im going to trading standards next because Sapphire just don't answer anything. I just started back at uni for my final year and I need my main rig to work on they are just taking the preverbial :mad:.

Ok I blanked out names as its not too polite to leave them in privacy and all but looks like I might have got a result, maybe, or they might be just making like I got a result to quieten me for a while :rolleyes:
 
Took me 3 to 4 months on an Asus RMA, twas only a x800 pro VIVO 2yrs after the fact and i got a 7600GS in return so not too bad, but 4 months! lol.
 
Im thinking they might send me a box of crayons and tell me to draw my own frames on the screen :rolleyes:, by the time I get my X1900XTX it will be worth about a tenner scrap:mad:.
 
OCUK refunded all my postage costs as I had to refund the same motherboard to them 3 times. Got €45 back from them in postage refunds. That took several phone calls some of which I had to threaten to ask for a manager but they got there eventually.

Suppose I got to be a pain as I posted and about this and mailed about this the whole of last week.
 
No idea whatsoever that was the entire text of the mail, I cant see that they got an XTX to the UK over the weekend since I got the first mail above so maybe its another card I just don't know. They just all of a sudden seem to have a card for me so its a bit of a mystery.
