Subwoofer + C320BEE?

Depends on the sub. Does it have low level and/or high level inputs? Either use L/R pre-outs from your NAD into the sub, or speaker cable L/R into the sub.

As this is a Hi-Fi (2 channel) amp I would advise you to get a sub with high level inputs as you will get a better feed to the sub that is totally in phase with the o/p to the speakers.

I haven't bought a sub yet but i'm just confused as to how a sub would actually connect to my amp. I am interested in buying a sub - obviously. :p

It wouldnt as far as I know as your hooking it up to a stero amp which only has left and right channels no sub channel

Does that Nad have pre-outs? Probably not is my guess.

Either way, if you want to improve the bass, buy a better source.

hmm I think a higher quality amplifier will increase bass quality (certainly changing from low end amp to a higher end model made the bass cleaner, yet more deeper at the same time) although if you want lots more bass (say standmounts in a large room) little you can do. In fact for music I'd avoid a sub and get speakers with lower bass response.

Sub is essential for movies, but never can get it sounding right, even if it's reduced in volume and crossover- probably room exgarrates certain frequencies, making it sound boomy. Sounds better off. Most Hi-Fi Audiophiles don't use subwoofers.

I had a NAD C320, and I think that had pre-outs...or at least there were links you could remove which connected the pre and power-amp stages. I think they're pre-outs. Can anyone confirm?

I have a Nad C320BEE. What happens is, in order for it to work, with a subwoofer, I believe you will need to take off the links (these link the pre out left to pre out right and the power stage left to the power stage right) then connect the subwoofer to the pre out stage, whilst keeping the power stage linked. At least I think that is partially right - I haven't used a subwoofer yet.

I think you will get a far better quality of bass by looking at your speakers and/or getting better sources and if that still doesn't help you could get another amplifier.
