Suggest an AMD motherboard for me, you fantastic nerds.

ASUS boards are undedniably some of the better quality manufactured. The same can't be said for some of their other products.

P8Z77-V, bang for buck is brilliant as it also includes WiFi add-on card. Or ASROCK Z77 Extreme if you don't mind skimping on quality to save a little.
 
I bought this a few months ago
Gigabyte 990XA-UD3 AMD 990X (Socket AM3+) DDR3 Motherboard

Good solid motherboard, works perfectly here, and was cheaper than ASUS.
But the fan control options are nowhere near as good as ASUS boards, so I won't buy Gigabyte again until they provide similar control.
