Suggested fans for a Megahalems Rev B

just tried the settings in the bios as there is no version of asus ai suite for my board for windows 7 64 bit according to asus' site

i need the fan to be spinning at at least 1200 though as i don't think it plays well with the tight fin spacing on the zalman.

even at full speed my cpu idles at around 38c and can nudge 60c under full load. the cluster was about 40c idle and could hit low 60's full load.

You want to be using really good static fans for cpu cooling... normal case fans are not as effective

Scythe Gentle Typhoon are one of the best cpu cooling fans, i would take alook at them

i was going to try the kaze-jyuni 1900rpm i have first then an enermax apollish vegas if the scythe was no good but will look into gentle typhoons as well. noise isn't really an issue as its my main rig and used for gaming mainly so don't need it to be quiet

Yeah kaze would be better than the enermax as there more case fans...
