As I see it an enthusiast - most of the people on this forum - could tell you roughly the spec of say a GPU made in the last 10-15 years a geek would be able to tell you the exact spec of any GPU if you said a model and a nerd would not only know the spec but be able to tell you exactly how each part of the GPU worked internally.
