most familes won't stay muslim for many generations surely when living in the west

are they expecting to implement sharia law and overhaul our education system? good luck with that...

if it ever happened IRA will look like a storm in a tea cup

Jewish people remain very attached to their religion, I would imagine Muslims hold at least as tenaciously or even more strongly onto their own.

The "converts" are doing it to cheat the system, (not that that is hard...), and they show evidence of their moral compass before even getting residency. Quite why the government permit audited change of religion to none residents I am not sure. The C of E have a lot to answer for here, and clergy can be just as bent as anyone else, for example marriage fiddles for immigration purposes.

Can't win - First people wanted them to "integrate" and convert to Christianity, now they are doing it, it's for a VISA :D

As I said earlier, perhaps only allow conversion *after* they have full citizenship? Of course it would be simplest and easiest to make it unpalatable for them to cross the globe to the UK in the first place, bypassing the dozens of safe havens they claim they are seeking. Cut the money and housing trees down! Right down.

You always show great support for these illegal immigrants, how many are you directly accommodating and supporting Vincent? Or are you Ed Balls MKII? ;)

Pretty sure someone said this earlier in the thread...Seems the church are converting people so they have a better chance of staying in the country.

Imagine my shock..... the church gain some fake numbers (which they desperatley need to keep their racket going) and people that shouldnt be here get to stay.
I hope the church doesn't mysteriously burst into flames for no reason whatsoever mysteriously.

No clue mate, not saying all people think that way either but he was very confident and forthright about it.

true they get special privileges too though.

there's a few places in Gateshead where only Jewish people can live which kinda separates their kids from society and stops them losing their way from the evil influences of non Jewish people.

some are event recent

Plans to build an Orthodox Jewish housing estate on a former bus depot have been approved.
The Jewish Community Council Of Gateshead has been granted permission to build 26 family homes at the former Go-Ahead depot on Sunderland Road.
Objectors to Gateshead Council said the homes should be open to all people, but the High Court has previously said such schemes do not breach equality laws.

How odd, Prestwich and the Cheetham Hill Road area of Greater Manchester has a very large orthodox Jewish population, I know some of them well, and whilst as a community they are extremely close knit and supportive of one another, they are physically spread out, and I have never heard one yearning of some quasi gated commune.

Maybe I’m missing something here, it wouldn’t be the first time, but what makes you think that Muslims living in the west for a couple of generations surely won’t stay Muslim?
I have relatives in Aubagne, some 20 km from Marseille and it always seems that there are more North African Muslims in Marseille than there are in Algeria, always plenty flocking to the mosques on Fridays.
As for Sharia Law, UKIP stated that “The law of the land must apply to us all, we oppose any other system of law.”
UKIP’s leader, Nigel Farage alleged in 2015 that there were 80 practicing Sharia Courts around the U.K.
I don’t know for how long Muslims have been influencing our education system, but my niece, a teacher in an inner London Borough primary school tells me that the guidance laid down is that where possible, male teachers must only teach boys and female teachers only teach girls, and Muslim parents do not want their children to sing carols.
During Ramadan schools are encouraged to provide a packed lunch to Muslim pupils entitled to free school meals, which they can take home and eat after sunset.
Muslim girls should not be required to wear shorts, or tennis and netball style skirts for P.E. lessons.
Seems like they’re making inroads so far.

Good luck with that

Male teachers are aware that society hates them being near young children. The result is a representation of 3% in nursery, 13% in primary school and 36% in secondary last I checked (UK).

Schools and organisations have known about this for decades and a piece is done every year (2021 no exception) hand wringing and quadruple checking that there's no discrimination in the organisations. Every now and again someone will write a research paper on it.

Getting enough male teachers in primary school for this to be realistic would be a great success.

Not strictly true. The predominantly orthodox Jewish area from Whitefield / Prestwich down to Cheetham Hill / Salford is pretty much one continuous stretch with very little non-Jewish people there.

There are quite a few streets and blocks there that may as well be a gated community, as it would be very surprising to see anyone non-Jewish walking around there.

(Not a negative, just an observation. I very much love the multiculturalism in greater Manchester and think the positives of it far outweigh the downsides)

22 people who didn't make it out of a concert alive would probably disagree with you.

This conversation about different "communities" reminds me of what Christopher Hitchens said in a video years ago....

"Cultural suicide. Don't let it happen to you. Don't let it happen where you live. Look at how wonderfully it worked in Northern Ireland when it was allowed to segregate Protestant and Catholic schools.

[Hitchens internal dialogue:] 'After all they have different faiths. Oh they do? I thought they were both Christians. I can't arbitrate between this. No, they should have separate schools which should never meet, never inter-marry. Never socialise.'

How beautifully that worked out. Now lets have it for Jews and Muslims on the mainland. Let them lie to their children and let them all give their special myth. Let them all say to them that they're different.

Not tell them that they're members of a civil society. Or a country. Or a nation. Let them denominate themselves by faith. Can't wait to see what happens. I think I know what's coming. I don't want my beloved country of birth to be turned into some ******* Lebanon by people of faith. I don't want it. I'm going to fight it too. And you should get ready to fight it when they try it in your case. Don't allow this, Putting the word faith in front of something is no excuse for barbarism and cruelty and ignorance and stupidity...."

“A few places in Gateshead where ONLY Jewish people can live?”
That’s a bit of a stretch isn’t it?
I don’t suppose that I’ve been to Gateshead for 45 + years, but I doubt there’s anywhere there where only Jewish people can live, in fact I can’t imagine that there’s anywhere in U.K. where only people of a certain denomination can live.
I’m guessing that you mean that these places are like Stamford Hill or Golders Green in London, populated almost entirely by Jewish people, but there are bound to be a few Gentiles who think that they are nice areas, and move there.
A bit like Notting Hill and Brixton, where the newly arrived West Indians gravitated to in the Fifties when they first started to arrive in London, on the basis that you feel more comfortable surrounded by people like yourself, who look like you and sound like you.
