Are these a good make or should I be looking at more 'known' names? Such as Honda etc.

get either a Yamaha , Honda, Peugeot, Gilera , dont get a aprilla, unless its the geard 1! they seem to have a lot of faults on them!

They don't count as faults on Italian bikes, it's called character

If I were to get a little scooter type thing, I'd want one of those old school bikes that have been reproduced.

Dont' know enough about them but they look like oversized monkey bikes.

Actually a little monkey bike would be cool too. My work is less than a mile and my daughters school is on route. Might look into it next summer.

My friend has one, im supprised its still going after all the problems its had, hasnt even been on road for a year yet.

Problems so far,
Top exhaust bolt from engine snapped, and was held on with gardenning wire,
Exhaust pipe somewhere was bent and air was leaking badly, meaning lots of noise
Indicator relay broke
Chain came off several times as the tensioner bolt was siezed on and snapped when he tried adjusting it. he got replacements now

ehhm.. what else.. Oh yeah its already rusting like hell.

***. It's much better to get a 2nd hand Piaggio NRG, Pergeot Speedfight or something rather than a new Sukida or Baotang which is another brand of cheap chinese ripoffs. They all come from the same factories.
