Can you read?? i did not compare them at all, i just said its the same tournament to other deserving players never got a chance to play, if you wanna compare defenders for defenders

Ciaran Clark in my opinion will be a much better defender than Chris Smalling, he had a better season last season, no idea why he didnt play at the U21.

You said Albrighton (a winger) had a better season in his position to that Smalling had (a central defender) in his position ergo you're trying to compare the season a winger had with a season a defender had ergo you're comparing a winger to a defender. Simples.

As for your previous disparaging remark about the quality of the under 21's tournament you do realise you're slamming a competition that Jones also competed in and whilst doing so was out performed by Smalling so if Smallings performances in that tournament alone were better than Jones' but is still not proof of a good player then Jesus Christ what hope has Jones got? Using your logic here not mine ;)

I'm still surprised that Anderson hasn't been more attacking with us. When I looked him up on YouTube before we signed him he was taking it past people etc. I wonder if we had a proper DMF whether that'd free him up at all?

Quite possibly, Anderson is certainly more of an attacking midfielder than defensive imo.

Albrighton did have a better season than Smalling, doesn't mean im comparing a winger to a defender, you dont have a clue simples.

Im slamming the U21 Competition because Albrighton, Ciaran Clark, Nathan Delfphonso (Sp) didnt get a kick even though they are better than Smalling, Henderson, Welbeck, Danny Rose etc etc............ a tournament where Danny Rose played again and again even though he's ****e.

How are you judging Albrightons season with Smalling's? Because Albrighton scored more goals? Assisted more? Better passing?

Flip it the other way how many successful tackles and interceptions did Albrighton make as oppose to Smalling? How many goal scoring chances did Albrighton deny as oppose to Smalling?

I'll save you the time to answer those because the answer is simple, they play in completely different positions hence why you can not compare them. Jesus christ it aint hard to get your head around is it?

Hold on I'm going to e-mail the PFA, FA and FIFA to ask how they come up with the Player of the Year award given that they are comparing players in different positions which apparently is impossible according to Tom84 :p
