Well you never know... Wenger has been at it a long time, maybe its finally time for the looney bin!

I would love to see Kevin Doyles reaction when he turns on SSN in the morning and the big yellow bar reads 'Arsenal line up £12 million Doyle bid'. :D :D
 
It is when your record transfer fee is £13m!

I think the thought process of The Mirror is they put 2 and goldfish together and get pancake - then write about it :p

Yup!

What makes me cringe is when they say that a deal is close to completion when in reality a club isn't even after the player they mentioned. :p

It'll be interesting to see what happens in this upcoming week, as far as Arsenal go I think Clichy will be on his travels, probably to Man City and we'll hopefully wrap up the Gervinho deal. I still have an inkling that Nasri will sign a new contract, especially if we manage to convince him we're going to spend. I believe Gervinho and Nasri are old pals so that should cheer him up a bit.
 
i think after the copa america is done with we will see some fireworks. But its not only the epl but everywere else its oh so quiet. In other news marca reporting that cesec has put up his london pad for sale. Waiter can i have some salt please:)

tbh we're only a Joaquin and Van Der Vaart away from this summer transfer window being complete, probably only a matter of time having said that despite the former already having moved this window :p
 
Medical today for Clichy apparently with him being announced official tomorrow so he can join pre season straight away.

Looking like a good signing. Only 25 with experience in Champions League etc and for 7m in today's market is a bargain tbh.

Savic also expected to have a medical next few days so he can be announced and then go back on loan to Partizian.
