I think he will go personally (and whether Utd are really after Cavani or not, that will not happen either way - Lewandowski might, but even that is unlikely imo). If Rooney does leave, Utd cant risk not getting an experienced replacement.

The Daily Star?? they are hardly reliable, pretty much the same as the other major tabloids with their constant rumours about certain transfers.
I tend to only believe it when SSN or the club announce it themselves until then anything could happen.
Heard a funny one today, Cruyff has said Barca should sell Messi off as they have Neymar and no longer need Messi...excuse me while i stop laughing

I have not seen a lot of him, so I don't feel confident to judge whether he has the ability to succeed. I assume with his singing though one striker must be on the way out, I can't imagine Lukaku going, maybe Ba going for a few million?

It seems that it's all sorted, he's decided to leave Barca and they just need to hear it from him formally, then he's ours.
But you can never be sure.
Him joining us is hardly unrealistic, we're very much in need of midfield improvements and he'll now have the chance to be *the* star midfield player at the biggest (or level with Real etc) club in the world.
The only reason I'm pessimistic about it actually happening is because it's simply too good to be true. Would be the most exciting transfer since Cristiano back in 2004.

The way I've always looked at that is had we pulled that transfer off we probably wouldn't of got Ronaldo and when you look at it that way we should be thanking Kenyon for ******* it up
I've not really seen much of him either but I thought he was more of an attacking mid (out wide as opposed to centre)
They're saying City will save 17m by getting him off the payroll now rather than let his contract run out next summer, guess that's the reason for the low price
Wonder where that leaves City, just Aguero and Dzeko left now
