I've had the impression for a while that a deal's already been agreed between Barca and Reina. Whether that's changed when the Valdes to Monaco deal fell through, I don't know.

As above, I can't see us signing a keeper unless we know Reina's off though. There's no chance that the owners would be happy with either a ~£10m keeper or a £120k per week keeper sitting on the bench.

Because Wenger is negotiating with pocket change and the occasional wink. These things always take time and Madrid have only just appointed a new manager so that may have held things up.

I've not really seen much of him either but I thought he was more of an attacking mid (out wide as opposed to centre)

He usually plays out on the left, but he's also a great finisher and can play up front too. Not to mention he has pace and stamina. Yup, one of the best signings I ever made in FM

Oh god! That didnt occur to me. I was thinking with Juv grabbing Tevez nothing stopping Arsenal, but of course this now frees up City to buy a new striker!
