Because there's no benefit to him to do anything else. He wants to leave so he'll kick up a fuss while there's the possibility of him leaving. Once that possibility is gone, what's he got to gain? The more he acts up the less likely somebody will be willing to pay the fee we'll want to sign him.

As I've said, we've got the best part of a month to get his head straight before he can play again and as I've just said in the Suarez thread, he's already started backtracking, claiming he's not desperate to leave.

That's nonsense. Henry and Rodgers have handled this difficult situation incredibly well, the only thing they could have done better, would be for Rodgers not to have gone public with the request for Suarez apology.

Most neutrals are pleased with the way the club are not bowing down to player power.
 
I said the other day, he seems awfully upset for somebody that doesn't want Suarez. Imagine how bitter he'd be if he genuinely wanted Arsenal to sign Suarez.
 
Man city were the ones to back down in the Tevez episode weren't they? I don't think Suarez is the type of person to forgive and forget an just get on with it.

That's assuming Rodgers backs down over this apology stuff.

Im not in any way, shape or form upset over Suarez neither am i bitter:p...the only thing that would upset me is if Arsenal sign him...ive said so many times that i do not want a player such as Suarez at Arsenal and i still stand by that even though he would score plenty of goals for us but i dont want him for any amount of money because of the way he conducts himself on and off the field.

For all i care Liverpool can keep him and continue making yourselves look silly:p.

If that still doesnt get through to you then meh carry on what you want to believe:p
 
Over and over? I've said it twice because you keep getting upset over the fact that you won't be signing him and keep making silly comments.

You should be happy that you're not likely to sign Suarez, along with Higuain, Jovetic, Rooney and all the others that I've forgot about.
