Heard this Scott Sinclair rumour a few times today and not sure why we're in for him, if indeed we are, when we already have Ibe and Sterling and have previously gone for a far better player in Ince. Money would be far better spend on a new LB, a new CB or a second keeper.
I did get a first in Accountancy at uni so relative to most people, yes I am.
You don't need an accountancy degree to know that Spurs won't be able to hide £50m.

I hope I'm wrong but I've got a nagging feeling that Sinclair might be seen as a cheap squad player, to replace Downing.
I know you hate him but Downing did have some use. We couldn't rely on Sterling for the whole of last season and at times using Downing as a safe option wasn't that bad. His problem was that it's hard to justify paying him ~£70k per week as a fringe player.
I hope we go out and buy a top quality natural wide player but if we don't we'll be left with just Ibe & Sterling and I'm not sure either (certainly not Ibe) is ready to be relied on all season.
Given that any amount would have to comply with FFP rules (however they are worked out lol), isnt there a limit of 35m over three years?
(Obviously no problem in the grand scheme of things - just appears a little OTT to go this far right from the start)
