Lamela just signed for £30mil, it's not surprising Ozil is £40mil, he's proved he can hack it at the biggest club in the world, he would be awesome to have in any squad. Real Madrid love direct football and Ozil is a sellable asset that doesn't really fit into that style of play. If the rumours are true then he fit in well with Arsenal's mentality, surely. If Ba and Williams join as well, i think that's been a decent window for you.

If Real Madrid make a late bid for Suarez do we take it? I would prefer to wait till January and make them pay way over the odds, we seen them do it with Bale so I reckon we should try and get at least £60 mill for him.

No not now, If they offerd us something maybe a week or so ago least then we would have had a chance to get some one in for him i dont see that as possible now. If anything let him leave in Jan but AFTER we get some one in so were not forced to over pay if a club sees us sell him for 50M they will want more for there player knowing we have extra cash

I guess watching our competitors strengthen dramatically while we sit on our hands is making me feel a little jello. Hardly surprising is it? We could have had fellaini signed months ago if we really wanted it to happen. And thus not hwve missed pre season or our opening 3 games.
 
My Dad is trying to explain to someone on the phone who's trying to get international clearance for an U16 player that it isn't going to happen today because it's transfer deadline day and the FAW secretary will have more important things to deal with. Losing his head big time! :D :D

I don't know. IF Madrid come back in for Suarez, then Replacing him by playing Mata just off Sturridge would make sense, and there is not as much hostility now between Chelsea and Liverpool as a few years ago.
