Happy, or happy given that at the moment you don't have anyone?

Would you have been happy with that a week after the end of last season?

Fellaini was always linked with us, Herera is the little one who with his mate ripped Man Utd to bits so fair enough in my opinion.

We are paying way too much for both but that's what happens when you leave it late. If its those two to help out in midfield or sticking with what we have now I'd choose the reinforcements.

Knock long balls down to the strikers? That sounds like what I just said  I was talking more about Herrera anyway, he's definitely a passer.

He's a bit more box to box from what I've seen, with the ability to pick a pass as well, should work perfectly with Carrick.

As a Man U fan, I think Fellaini is a bad buy. Not very creative from what I have seen, not denying he is a great player, but not a Man U player. However, when I heard that we were linked with Ozil I nearly cried with joy, he is a long time favorite of mine, and he would slot right in at Old Trafford with the ability to play anywhere in midfield...

I haven't seen or heard much about Herrera to really make a decision on him.

Baines would have fit in, buy it seems we are no longer going to chase him.

IF I was manager or had anything that could sway Moyes, Marco Rues would be number 1, Ilkay Gundogan, Ozil...look in Germany, plenty of quality players.

If Fellaini is United quality, then why are we not looking at Bastian from Bayern Munich? Much the same, but better...far far better and out of favor under Pep...

EDIT: I may be jumping the gun with the above...maybe moan next season at Moyes if he signs useless plonkers...lets wait and see, but I still feel Fellaini isn't Man U quality...

I literally do not know what would satisfy some fans.

They want a name over a player and I don't really remember when we went out and bought proven 'world class' anyway (bar Van Persie).

We're buying two midfielders it's like ****ing Christmas you nutters.

Oh my, Schweinsteiger out of favour - just lol.

Exactly, all these named players that people know...don't want to move to utd. Like Fabregas, or Schweinsteiger. We can't and never have attracted those types of players.

There is that. We have be trolled hard for the past 3 years with regards to our midfield so I guess we should thank our lucky stars we have bought 2 (hopefully)

The obvious question is "why haven't we"

We are always in the top 5 clubs in the world in almost all respects so why wouldn't they come to us?

Because they're at better clubs, in nicer locations, who win more? Why on earth would they step down a level? When was the last time we signed a Barcelona player? or a Real Madrid payer? or a Bayern Munich player?

These players are not always Madrid, Barca or Bayern players. Bayern haven't been in the same league as us until recently either.

How do these clubs buy those players?

Do you genuinely think that out of all the world class players that have move all over the world, plenty of them wouldn't have come to United. We might not be able to get them once Madrid or Barca decide they want them but to suggest that we couldn't get these players at any time is crazy. There are at least a dozen players in each of the German, French, Italian and Spanish leagues that would improve us a lot and their parent teams managed to buy them so why couldn't we.

lol?

I thought you were German, and a Dortmund fan? Or was it Bayern? Or possibly Crewe? I can't keep up.

You won't be using them rolleyes when we roll out with Bastian, Mesut and Marco after they've all fallen out of favour with their respective clubs... and Philipp filling in when Patrice or Raffa are tired.

Isn't it weird how things have changed in a year.
Chelsea paid £30m for Hazard this time last year and that was laughed at by Man.U. fans saying he's good but he's not worth that amount, Kagawa is better etc.
This year they're desperate just to bring anyone in so don't mind paying £30m for some bloke from Athletic Bilbao who I doubt most of them have even heard of.

So you're saying you'd heard of Schweinsteiger and he was world class before he went to Bayern? Back when he was at TSV 1860 Rosenheim?

You've just complained we never get big name players then suggested we go for unknown prospects, which is it

I am a Man U fan. I follow Dortmund as I like the club. The German national team is due to my families roots. Obviously I follow Crewe as I live 20 minutes from the ground...

Also, for the record, I never said Reus was out of favor at BVB, far from it. Bastian, however, from my knowledge, is out of favor and more of a fringe player with Pep. Ozil is out of the question as it seems he is linking up with his international team-mate at Arsenal...

Sky saying that Arsenal want Ba for £1.5m on loan but Chelsea want a loan £3m fee. Napoli and Valencia coming in to gazump the Gunners.
