Huh, did I also say we should have bought Messi before Barca got him. You mentioned Schweinsteiger not me. I was talking in general terms. I haven't suggested we go for unknown prospects any more than you are suggesting that there are no big name players outside of the very best teams in the world.

There are dozens of players that are top draw at much smaller clubs than United. Barca, Madrid and Bayern can only field 11 players and you don't have 6 world class subs sitting happily on every bench. There are loads of top draw players out there that we could have bought over the years had we desired.

I hope we don't let Ba go to Arsenal, I know he's another one who is now at the back of the queue but I'm not keen on aiding rivals in any way.
 
I'm not a fan of Fellaini but at least he adds a bit of muscle/dominance to our midfield, something that has been lacking since Keane departed. Herrera will add that much needed creativity and channel between midfield and attack. MUFC are literally whiskers away from signing two midfielders that will definitely improve their situtation, yet half the so called fans on here are complaining because they aren't signing players like Fabregas?!

Ander Herrera completed the 12th-highest amount of passes (1496) in La Liga, more than Messi (1463) & Özil (984). I'm sorry but he is going to be a massive improvement over Cleverley and Giggs.

We tried, but failed. Key word tried, better than not trying at all?!

I'm with Bucket, this is literally like Christmas. :D

Kagawa hardly got a run of games either and was (for the most part) played out of position.

Would really like him to get a decent run of games just after the international break (although he may well have a lot more travelling to do than most)
