Lukaku will be at Chelsea next season -

That is awesome news as the lad has great potential & someone like JM should be able to get it out of him. It also points towards what JM has been saying about how he's going to build the team around the youngsters we already have & not just buy a team like the media seem to think.
That's not say that we won't be spending any money as we still need another striker at least.

What exactly is awesome news? That a young player Chelsea own wants to play at a higher level than the club he's just been loaned to? I would have thought that much is obvious? If Chelsea do sign Cavani then Lukaku is going to be feeding on scraps again and unless Torres is shipped off will probably be behind him for the reserve striker birth as well

One (new) £50m~ striker is enough for any team

For me I'd love to see Lukaku as the main man, because I think he could turn out to be ridiculous.

is there any truth in the hulk rumours? or is it something goal made up?

Would love to see him in the premiership.

Hulk+Lukaku upfront would be class

I agree, I guess they just don't want to put all the big club pressure and expectations on a really young guy particularly as they only play one up front so there's no one else to take the flack a la Torres.

@Higuain, iirc he has 18 off the ball and finishing so...

Fixed. Hulk's never particularly impressed me, just a big battering ram, lacks vision and a poor touch. Lukaku and Cavani would be a much better partnership.

but there are a few decent free transfers available.

If we sell Pantilimon someone like Schwarzer would be perfect.

Thankfully we are now free of Bridge, RSC and Kolo though! 300k+ a week in wages for two players who haven't even been in Manchester probably in over two years and one who was a bit part player!

Yep i like him, dont think he showed his best at Real especially when you have the likes of Ronaldo scoring most of the goals. Plus like you said hes young so still has time to hit his peak.
Id rather get him than say Rooney, who will want stupid wages from us.
