The way you keep banging on about that figure specifically you certainly gave the impression you had a source and it wasn't just a complete shot in the dark

Isn't that 98% of his posts?

If City signed everyone that Biz thought they were going to, they would have a massive squad of overpaid players doing nothing.............wait a minute!

We're getting them, Ronaldo, Baines, Thiago and DutchBarry.

Thiago's buy out clause is apparently £18m right now I'd be amazed if no one was trying to tempt him with big wages.

Obviously no more than £45k though because that would be preposterous!

**bearing in mind that he has left his hometown club where he has spent his whole career and has prior history of being homesick.
So he will be on more money because he has left his hometown club and has history of being homesick?

What?

I am not banging on about it at all, it is people on here who keep bringing it up. I put it in my OP as a joke hence the ;)

Why some can't just look past that instead of saying You have no proof so are instantly wrong and I am right because I think this....

I have mentioned that figure because that is what I believe, I am not going to keep changing it throughout the month.

I know what he means but I don't understand without knowing the exact circumstances how you can make the judgement.

Had we signed him a few years ago I would agree but joining City isn't for the money anymore

How about the incentive of playing in the CL? Challenging for domestic honors every year and also the chance to prove yourself outside of your comfort zone and possibly improving yourself as a person and a player.

Who gives a flying fig how much Navas is earning, other than the fact it will be more than at least 99% of posters in this thread.

Biz, City's average salary is £100,000 / week. Thats the average. City pay big money and big wages for players. Stop pretending that City are suddenly being really frugal and attracting players to the club rather than the money.

I know its high right now but that us because most of the squad are on huge wages because that's what we had to do to get them. I am not denying that.
What I am saying is that I dont believe that the new players we are signing will be on big wages because it doesn't make sense.

All of the contracts are being restructured so its a lower basic wage and then big bonuses. Better for FFP should we ever actually ever be challenged and better just in terms of finances
You will see next year when there is a significant drop in the money paid out in wages both because of the restructuring and quite a few players leaving who were on big wages. The likes of Bridge, Kolo, RSC and Balotelli. Around 500k a week right there.
Hopefully the likes of Lescott and Kolarov follow and Tevez could well be off as well. Another 400k. Could yet be more also.

You don't think players are attracted to the club regardless of money? Lol.
