I'm hoping someone here has had the following problem and knows how to resolve it.
We have a 37 inch TV hooked up to a sun ray DTU that needs to be powered on 24/7 (for stats and a few other bits and bobs). I'm having trouble getting the thing to stop going into standby after 15 minutes.
I've installed the pop-up GUI firmware on a DTU and set the blanking to 0. I've also programmed a smart card to run "<filepath>/xset -dpms s off" when authenticating with the sunray servers.
The above works fine and dandy when plugged into a bog standard monitor, but when we switch it to the TV, using either an HDMI-DVI or RGB- DVI cable, it loses the signal after 15 minutes and goes into standby.
The TV is definitely configured correctly too. I can plug a normal windows PC into it and it will never lose its signal or go into standby (using the same cables as above).
Any SRS admins out there who have an idea of what else could be causing the TV to lose the signal, but not a normal monitor?
