Took a trip to Bournemouth and the surrounding area today to try my hand at motorsports photography for the first time. It was a lot harder than I was expecting it to be, panning cars at 60MPH when they are only about 6 foot away from you is a lot more challenging than I anticipated...

Got more difficult as night enclosed later in the day as the D70 isn't exactly 'great' at high ISO and the flash makes capturing any sense of motion very very hard.

Anyway... here are some of my spoils;

I like them all apart from the last 2 because the lights overpower the shot. I love 3 and 5, you get the sense of motion and 5 especially because the back is blurred and the front is in focus. 5 is perfect imo.

How much 'full size' ?

I'm not going to be handing out full res copies of these but you might be lucky and get something desktop res.

Just be aware some of them are heavily cropped and the cars may well not get much bigger :p
