Hi all, today was the annual Super Car Siege held at the stunning Leeds Castle in Kent. Seen as I only live a few minutes away I thought it'd be rude not to pop along and drool over some lovely cars whilst supporting a very worthwhile charity (Royal Navy/Marines Benefit).

The weather was stunning and the type of cars was vastly different, catering for almost every taste, from V8 American Muscle cars to Japanese Turbo nutter to various elegant European marques and, as usual, the Sporting Bears were there giving car ride for charity.

The only "minor" irritant was the number of parents (hundreds!) who'd brought under 10 year kids who either had absolutely no discipline and were

A - running infront of moving cars/bike with their parents 40+ yrds away in a world of their own staring at a mobile, or

B - pawing all over peoples nice cars, including one child I watched kicking a lovely Ferrari Testarossa door only for the disinterested parent to shout at the owner when they told the kid off because you know, it's "too difficult" to bring up a well behaved child for some people.

Anyway, thats enough of my old man rant so here's my pics (tried to be as varied as possible) -

Nice selection there - looks like the weather was good to you as well!

A few of my friends are involved in the sporting bears so I used to end up going to all their events when I was in the UK - looking forward to continuing that when I'm back. :)

Great photos, the point about children running amok, and even adults to be fair, is what puts me off taking my car to shows like this. Always one penis, or the going to get far too close to the car during the day and leave a lovely mark on it.

Where are the supercars?

There was about 40 Ferraris (inc La Ferarri), a dozen or so Lambos (virtually all Gallardos) but nothing more exotic like Paganini or Koneg or Bugatti etc.

Of the 400+ cars it was mainly sports cars. The MLR and M3Group had 40+ cars each of almost identical cars bar the colour which I found a bit dull and I had more interest in the "mish/mash" groups like Rally for Heroes who had all kinds of cars on their stand.
