It adds more than what the description shows including a mark as read/unread button for highlighted messages/threads which is very handy as you don't have to use the drop down list anymore. Greasemonkey script not needed (though I do have it installed because whenever I load Outlook 2007 it seems to load new mails using that instead of gmail (compose to links)

Coupled with the gmail notifier extension these two build a better gmail experience especially considering both of them use HTTPS as opposed to the official Gmail notifier for windows which uses totally unsecured login which sends your password as plain text.

one thing gmail notifier was missing is the mailto: catcher

Also right clicking a message creates a preview!

A lot to play around with, but looking good so far

EDIT: Like the look of the super clean version - also like the live preview of conversations, which looks to be very useful.

adblock plus, add a filter subscription, choose EasyElement + Easylist from this page..

makes firefox faster than using adblock plus + filterset g
