Super Stardust HD (PS3) - OC Leaderboard Challenge

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but if I use the new custom playlist feature, instead on the game music, and play some mellow music (I find Massive Attack good) then I play better. The default music is good but adds to the frantic feel sometimes... or is it just me?

I only play 1 track on my Csutom List (on loop).

Heroes Official Soundtrack: 2. Fire and Regeneration - Wendy & Lisa

I used to think this helped me get a high score. Now people have beaten my score I am experimenting with new music to help me.

Have you considered "Ice Cube - Check Yo Self" ?

YOU WANT FAST PACED MUSIC YOU PANSIES!!!!

pendulum is the absolute perfect soundtrack for this game!!

you wanna be on edge and alert for this game, slow music is not good :D

Well well well! I come back from a week in Tenerife to find my score broken yet again by the mysterious ojste! In fact my 260 million is now left in the puddles by his 360 million.

My friend, after I come back from Hong Kong, It's On.

My playlist is:

Asteroids by Culture Shock
System Addict by Plump DJs
Comin' on Deep by Entity
Andromeda Strain by Affinity

Need to add a few more really, but too busy actually gaming to give it enough thought!

I generally play far far better when I'm relaxed (but alert). If I'm stressed I tend to make daft decisions. I tend to listen to the retro music though cos I like it :)

I chose Massive Attack at random really, just to test out the in game custom playlist feature. I found that the more relaxed pace of the music helped me keep calm though so I was able to slow down a little and did better because of it. Fast paced music just adds to the chaos imo - maybe it was just the mood I was in this morning though!!!

Ok so I just made a new PSN account (Zumaa) on a new user account. After copying my save file from my original PS User to the new user, I played SSHD on it and it was fine. I then proceeded to repeat the process for my mum's account, however it showed the game as being the demo version. So I went back to my new account and it now also shows demo version. My original account is the full version complete with expansions though.

What's going on?

You need to keep your user account details saved on your PS3, the one that you actually bought SSDHD with, or any game come to that.

Otherwise, what's to stop you bringing your save games around to everybody's house, and copying them on?

You don't have to use the account the game was bought with, it simply needs to remain on the system.

Vin.

EDIT: Sorry I think I may have misread your post a bit there... I was thinking you were trying to get it going on a different PS3, not just a different account. Still, if you've created a new account for yourself, make sure you didn't delete the old one, because as I said, that'll stop the full game working on any other accounts.

I haven't deleted the old one :) Maybe I shouldn't have copied the save game?
