Scoobydoo sorted out a big group buy, some people got the product, others didn't, he then vanished, turned out some bad stuff had gone down in his private life, everything got sorted out and they all ran away holding hands.

There is no reason to be a jerk over it. You were incorrect and I found your comment a personal insult. You could have replyed " Sorry I think your wrong " Or " Your wrong but lets wait for a DON to confirm " Just because its over the internet and not face to face dont excuse you from being rude!
