As for businesses meh initially, anyway me uncle is a bt area manager down this way, sure i can wrangle some info from him. ;)

Personally im all for this convergence funding, cornwall has always been one of the last in line to get anything with regards to our government, despite being one of the largest counties and it's rapidly growing.

Oh and to cheer you up some moar, fast lte mobile broadband is also being trialled down this way, kinda makes up for all those virgin users harping on about their 50mbit when we get chuff all down here ;)

It does if it is fibre to the home or even cab and they don't have to dig them all up.

cornwall does seem silly and doesn't seem like the logical place to start if you want to make money but government funded and is good practice for a full roll out I suppose.
