Superman Trailer

Superman 'too big'

London - The new Superman is giving movie bosses a headache - because of the size of his bulge.

They fear Brandon Routh's profile in the superhero's skintight costume could be distracting, reports the Sun.

Hollywood executives have ordered the makers of Superman Returns to cover it up with digital effects.

The Sun's source said: "It's a major issue for the studio. Brandon is extremely well-endowed and they don't want it up on the big screen.

"We may be forced to erase his package with digital effects."

Brandon, 26, has taken over the superhero's cape from the late Christopher Reeve.

Wardrobe artists have had to fit him with a special codpiece for the new film out next year. - Ananova.com

Looks like he has a Super Schlong too!

:D

I think it looks awesome. The soundtrack for that movie still gives me the chills (go, John Williams!) But why does Lois Lane need to have a dumb spoiled rotten bratty punk little kid? Die!

Now there's something for his mamma's scrap book.

I didn't realise the concept of this movie was him returning from exile, I've kind of gone off it now.

It;'s not exile,

he makes a ship to go back to Krypton (or where it once was) to find out info on General Zod...i think, something like that.

I cant wait myself :D

Well it's a self-imposed exile then, anyway, the tralier is underwhelming and I expect the X-Men will wallop it.

I agree from previous XMen films its bound to be better

but im a big superman fan so ill still enjoy it (hopefully)

Just watched the trailer and I've actually quite impressed, not in that the film is going to be good or not but more so how it manages to feel/look/sound just like the original movies.

I think the film looks very good, it certainly has potential to be on the same level as X-Men special effects look top-notch and the trailer looked to be very true to the characters, especially the young superman at home on the farm.

Looking forward to it.

Hmm, trailer didn't really get me going, was expecting a lot more, but I'm sure the film will be good overall, but looks like X3 will beat it for me so far.

I'm sorry but Christopher Reeves IS superman, anyone else just doesnt seem right.

Not entirly convinced by the suit, looks a little faded, should be slight brighter and has a kevlar weave to it.

So is the idea this is set after the original films or does it totally ignore any previous storylines as none of the characters seems to have aged.

I'd have much preferred that Smallville carried on a little further, then that made into the film, but I guess WB got impatient and wanted it out sooner.

Well to be fair Reeve cant do it can he, (RIP) - but this guy is very similiar, was a nobody till this. Im sure it wont beat the originals, but itll still be good :)

Iirc its set after the 2nd film? after General Zod is defeated he builds a ship or something to find out the info on him, something like that - but i read this months ago, so it may have been speculation!
