Supermarket sweep....

Bored at work (yes its Sunday) and this subject was raised after reading an article.

You have won a 5 min supermarket dash. You are placed with a trolley at the entrance.

Where would you head off to first? What would your plan be?

Will be interesting to see if you end up the same place as my workmates!

id go for the tv's etc. no point going for the fruit and veg section! and forget those frozen turkeys!

I'd probably head to the most expensive areas, Electrical, Alcohol and Perfumes.

Although you'll find most supermarket sweeps won't allow you to go to these places.

I would head to the spirit section first and grab a bottle of each, maybe some champaign or expensive wine. Beer is to cheap so not worth the space or time. I would then head to the meat counter and get loads of lamb and steak etc. The trolley is now full. SO I will head to electronics. Stick a American fridge freezer on top of the trolley to make a nice platform. Then stick 4 or so plasma tv's on top.

Supermarkets diversifying has made this no fun at all. It's practically common sense just to fill up on electronics. How about: no electronics, no alcohol, no drugs counter (don't say you weren't thinking it

), no cosmetics?

If that's the case I would get a variety of meats, cherries, chocolate and medicines.

Being a chocolate lover it would be straight down for as much chocolate as i could fit into the trolley .Then onto the alcohol.

Would just go to the electrics, area, fill my trolley with about 10 ps3s, 2-3 TVs, a few hundred games

Sell it all off later on, then take my time and buy whatevverrr I want

If it was purely for groceries, not including all the electricals, pharmacuticals and alcohols you lot are mentioning, then I'd head straight to meat, and grab tonnes of the nicest chicken, steaks and other meat, lindt chocolates, ben & jerries ice cream and stuff.

Supermarket Sweeping M&S would be tasty.
