Supermarkets now reduced fuel prices...

Just have been notified by http://petrolprices.com/ that supermarket have just reduced their fuel prices. Just logged in and found out that my local ASDA sells 94.9p for diesel while the rest of town sell for 99.9p!

Worth checking it out.

Tescos near me now does Unleaded for 92.9p according to that site...

I'm not sure what the price was before, but it's definitely better than almost a pound per litre.

Is supermarket diesel not of the same quality as the like of Shell etc ?

I heard it contained more impurities although that may be duff gen.

yeh just filled up on way home for 92.3p for unleaded from our esso

I have definatly had problems running the diesel corolla on tesco diesel (sluggish pulling off, easier to stall)
We usually use sainsburys.

I always use shell or esso, just seems better petrol in all, texaco has to be my least favourite!

Couldnt care less, im filling up whatever, wherever but dont drive out of my way specially to save 0.1p a litre, the nearest petrol station will do me.

well tbh i filled up at the weekend at 95.9, on the motorway it was 102.9 and most other stations were still at 98.9
I filled up 45 litres which means I saved
£1.35 on a regular station
or £3.15 at the motorway.

either savings could buy me a breakfast.

Makes me laugh because on the Shell site they claim they reduce the prices as the prices of crude oil barrels drop and yet that's so not true.

The only time I ever see the Shell prices drop is after the local Asda and Morrisons drop theirs!!

Sainsburys at Kingsway have it at 92.9p, plus if you spend a certain amount in-store they take another 5p/l off. That offer runs through August.

shell was the first round my way to cut fuel price think it was friday or saturday last week. When i passed it in the morning on the way to work it was 98.9 for unleaded on the way back ( about eight hours later ) it was 93.9, nearly binned the car when i saw it.
