Like I said, best out there by a mile.

And like I said, I'm presuming it's because it has 'extras' in it over cheaper brands? I don't know the ingredient list on all of them :p

Check your average multi vitamin, it will have about 1/8th of the minerals and ingredients in there. It will also have "cheaper" variants of each ingredient that may not absorb as well

Most complete from a spectrul perspective? Looks tough to beat. In terms of delivered value, however, a lot of that stuff is either unproven or downright odd (ox bile? Shark cartilege?).

Balanced against cost, I'd argue it is not the best value, but that's not what Steedie was saying. :-)

Looked at it but not interested in paying that much for a multi, though, I have no doubt about its potency. I ordered two pots of Alpha Men and happen to find myself in Holland and Barrett this afternoon where I picked up another multi for half price. It'll do.

Trouble is with Holland and Barretts multi is it's utter garbage. Don't get me wrong, I used to use it andused it for like 2 years myself, but the difference in that and the Animal Pak or more expensive ones is night and day.

If you read about the differences between the forms of each ingredient, you'll notice H&B uses the cheapest one nearly every time, so your body doesn't utilise all of it and you end up peeing the majority out

I'm currently giving the PHD Pharma Mass and Strength protein a go, the idea is to have those all important calories (along with having a decent enough diet) to help with my half marathon & weight training and so that I hopefully don't lose any weight and can at least maintain my weight as well, or continue to gain weight.

I can make it a 800-900kcal shake by adding 350ml of milk and some porridge oats. Which is good, as I burned nearly 900kcal when I ran 10km in 1 hour on Saturday.

Thanks,

David
