Ah yeah, my apologies, I forgot that for some reason they list a serving size as 2 on websites, yet on the instructions on the tin it says to take 1 only, and a second 8 hours later if you're doing constant intense activity
Most effective for fuelling muscles whilst managing your insulin response? Something like maltodextrin or a highly complex'd carbohydrate (unrefined oats).
Most effective for quick, dirty energy? Glucose.
Most effective for resistance to fatigue (that is legal)? Caffeine in the immediate term, creatine in the medium* term, beta-alaine in the long** term.
*Requires daily dosing for at least 2/3 weeks for a measurable difference;
**Requires daily dosing for around 4-8 weeks for a measurable difference.
Its not banned in the states yet, so you can still buy it from the likes of Nutraplanet.
I bought 4 tubs in preparation for when it does eventually get banned in the states too. About £110 all in including delivery and import fees (letter from FedEx just arrived).
So about £27.50 per tub.
A bit disappointing when you used to be able to get these for <£25 in the UK, but they're only going to get more expensive, if you can find them. and i'll accept the £2.50 'hit' to the wallet for the assurance of having some in the cupboard for the next year.
There isn't one though. The banned substance is the most effective active ingredient in Pre-WO's like Jack3d. So if you want the added benefit of the pre-WO, then it's time to order abroad and pay the premium.
It's pretty pap. Doesn't give you anywhere near as much of a buzz, if any. I've got a sample sat on my desk now actually, didn't make any affect first time I took it.
Edit: Christian, do you drink much caffeine? Could be why it doesn't do much for me, as I sink at least 4 cups a day
