I like it how you left out Beta Alanine and citruline malate, are they ineffective as well?
But by all means, please give the name of those 3-4 of those much better alternatives.

Citrulline malate, again, not what's giving you energy. But ok...

Anyway, 3 or 4 alternatives that are better? Sure, I'll give you more, from personal experience...

All of those are far better, I would list more but those are the ones similar in price to Pulse
 
Similar in price with 1/3 the amount of servings, yes indeed.
As for the list above, all of them contain a combination of Creatine, Citruline Malate, AAKG, Beta Alanine or Taurine, but none of them contain all. Now if neither of these do anything then it means that all the "effect" comes from the 0.2 - 1g of random ingredients thrown in there to look good on the list, and the kick comes from the ridiculous amounts of caffeine thrown in, which anyone on this planet can add him/herself.

Quite a few come loaded with sugar (N.O Xplode has a ridiculous amount of filler chucked in to make it what - 20 servings per tub?)
The only thing worth noting is that Rhodiola in Neurocore but it takes quite a while to sart working and it sure is pricey for what you get.

This is the same discussion that we had with regards to that Pro Recover that's nothing more than protein+dextrose with silly low amounts of vitamins to increase the label size haha.

I'm not one of those Freefaller types that uses 2kg of protein per year as I don't mind my shakes to fill in macros, but these pre workouts really do have a serious go at one's wallet in exchange for not much.
From someone who knows so much about lifting, you certainly are a bit of a marketing victim. :D

In my case lately, nothing.

I don't coffee and can't really eat right before training.

I still have half a tub of Black Powder, stuff is useless really. Makes me pee every 15-20 minutes and doesn't do nearly as much as old Jack3d did.

I just sip on my amino acids with taurine added during training.

That's because Jack3d was based around amphet. Quite simple, really.
 
Each serving is a total of 11 pills

You thought they fit all those ingredients on one pill?! :D

Is that a legal thing?

Those packets look like the ones you see being confiscated from people at airports for carrying naughty sauce in tablet form.

For vitamins, mineral and fatty acids I just go to Aldi and Lidl, super cheap for the same servings and amounts.
