It sure did look like a fun little car to drive

That is of course other than the noisy, rattly, cheap hollow plastic interior and the terrible seats and the terrible smell and wind noise oh and not forgetting the plastic steering wheel!

I had a courtesy Ka once while my car was having work done and felt it was anything but!

sounds like an instant-death mobile (!?!) to be honest, and after having owned a KA before, **** THAT getting one again

There is a banged up red micra around the a12/a13 that has an sr20 turbo engine from a 200sx. It is stupidly quick and you would never know until its to late!

I went to check out the owners club and discovered that most owners run a 2.0 zetec engine and the breaks from the Focus ST.

what did the poor Focus ST do to get broken ?

Theres loads of Ka's knocking around now with the RST engine conversion.

Puma engine conversions are becoming quite popular on them now, and i've seen a couple of Focus RS converted ones too

1.6 Zetec RoCam engine out of a Brazilian Ford something or the other. Harsh as **** and terrible economy. Distant relative of the Ford Crossflow/Valencia/HCS/Endura E engine.

It's a horribly dated engine, when I had one for a while I managed 29 mpg around town. More torque than the one that replaced it though, can't remember what engine that was.

I think beating an ST makes it the fastest road car that you can open with a tin can opener.
