I wanna swap my Define XL R2 blue power LED (the one that lights up the power button) for a RGB LED that I can plug onto a RGB header on my z370 gaming 7 motherboard. Does such a thing exist?

Cheers, do I need to solder on some kind of resistance of straight to the mb with correct wires?
Depends on what kind RGB lights that connector is made to power.
If there are multiple LEDs in serie that affects to voltage and even with serial resistor on motherboard single LED would get too much voltage.
Again if connector has some active regulation for current that's difference situation.

Start by checking what motherboard's manual says about that connector.

LED strip headers will be 12v and an addressable LED header will be 5v.

The easiest one to get working would be to obtain a single addressable RGB LED WS2821, although you'd need to sort some wiring out perhaps.

Just fitting a 5mm RGB LED won't work as it will need 3 resistors and then a way to actually control it.
