Sweetest M3 ever or not...?

lol @ the "chavved" comments... :DDD seriously.. some people..

on the car tho - its awesome all over.. its all of course is a matter of taste personally i would not have the red wheels.. and maybe remove the spoiler other than that its all good with me :)

How so?

Because you don't agree with how it looks?

So in your opinion, is anyone who modifies their car a chav?

Its got nothing to do with taste; which is obviously different for everybody. Although i'd say that "look" isnt my cup of tea.

Its because hes taken a perfectly nice car and completely ruined it with huge modifications, likely making it worse than when he started in any number of ways. Its also because hes trying to make it something it isnt; some kind of psuedo DTM car or something when patently its not, nor ever going to be. Just kinda makes me think... why?

and if you take the above paragraph and apply it to the average chav it stills works, although your average chav doesnt have the money to do it properly with somebody who knows what they are doing applying quality aftermarket parts.

'Worse' in YOUR opinion.

How do you know he is trying to make it into a psuedo DTM car? He has never stated that, in fact it looks more 'jap style' than DTM to me. Anyway, why does it have to be pigeon-holed into a certian 'look? Perhaps he just knows what he likes and made it look how he wants. Also, somebody has already stated that the car will be used for plenty of track days, so I would guess a lot of the mods have this in mind.

Just because a car has been modified it doesn't make it 'chav'. That BMW is a world away from a 1.2 Corsa swing with 20" chrome wheels and 3-tons of bodyfiller and fibreglass.

See, it is your opinion then, because he hasn't ruined it, he's made it suitable for what he wants to do, and that is track racing.

He's made it faster and better handling than the original car (to put it simply) and he's not skimped on anything, it's been done a fairly high standard - how does any of that relate to a "chav" car? Sure there are some questionable modification but that comes down to taste, not being your cup of tea means it's not to your taste surely? It's not all to my taste either, that doesn't make it 'chav' though....

He's not made it into a DTM or whatever car, that's people on here commenting on it (why they think that, I don't really know) he's just modified it.

So basically anyone who modifies their car in a way that you don't like is a chav?

Main thing I don't like is the steering wheel. I think the standard steering wheels on the M3 are really nice. God knows why you'd change it to that thing. Not to mention there's no airbag now. The nude avatar stuff is a bit crap too. Or am I being too sensible? :/

Other than that I like it.

Weak offset on those front wheels is not a good look! They're HUGE too, must be 20"s? Not to my taste really, but then I guess it's a 'chav' car. :p

Chav means the working class sub-culture who normally invest in dragon stickers and 15 inch tail pipes for £500 crap hatchbacks. Call it rubbish, scene whore, crap and played out but it is not chav.
