Swiftech radiator fans. Word of advice

30 May 2006
These fans don't behave very well when you connect them to a fan controller and bring the power down so that they can be completely silent. It seems to me after testing some fans here that high rpm ones make a rattling noise when slowed down a lot which can irritate those who are paranoic with noise like me. I changed them with the akasa ultra quite 1400RPM, 18dba and the problem is solved since these fans ain't designed for high rpms and aren't bothered if you low volt them. Cost is £15 but they worth it.
