Switching current accounts & PayPal

Thinking about switching from Lloyds to TSB or someone else. I assume PayPal will become broken and I'll have to setup my account with the new account and card details?

Paypal just uses a direct debit to take money out doesn't it? In which case the direct debit should be transferred to the new bank account automatically when you switch.

Might affect withdrawals from paypal into your bank account though. Not like it's difficult to set up up a bank account on paypal...

I transferred my PayPal to a Santander 123 account when I set that up. No issues at all. Didn't even noticed it had transferred til I bought something from eBay!

Everything is done automatically, including your payroll if you so wish.

When I added a new card on Paypal and used it for the first time, it became 'verified'. Paypal would then let me delete the old one. Think it's the same with addresses - add a new one, use it once so that it becomes verified then delete the old one.
