Apparently this cooler is the mutts nutts, destroys everything else including the Thermalright V1 http://www.ocia.net/reviews/sytrinvf1/page5.shtml and here http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=article&item=382&num=6

This means it will be better (and likely cheaper) than the new Zalman VF900 so I guess it's left to say... can OCUK get any of these in?

Can't see them in any UK stores whatsoever so could be OCUK's chance to get em in first (without price-gouging preferably:p).

Look damn sweet... :D

Looks alright, saw it a while ago but the crossflow style fan looks a bit naff. Would probably work better with a standard 80mm fan

hmm that crossflow fan looks fairly big also, i agree with the above poster about it remove that cack and shove a standard quiet 80/92/120mm fan instead.

I would buy this as the current crop of coolers don't do anything for me
they arent supposed to turn you on :p
the VF700/VF900 series are darn good coolers, as is the artic cooling. cant see why this would be that much more better

That thing is huge! I have some experience of cross flow fans as i have two Vantec Vortex hdd coolers and they are fine on low speed but if you set them to high (i don't for obvious reasons) they scream like a bloody banshee. Don't know if that will be the case with this cooler.

Bigger surface area and a focused cooler = better heat dissapation :)

Would love an answer on this Gibbo, it's the best performing heatsink out there and I want it for my volcano-like X1900! :)
