Perfectly happy, refurbished and repaired goods, as such packaging used will no longer the original as per usual with refurbished goods.
 
Got the £50 one I hope it is ok and kind of works like an iPad as my old one is the first one that came out and can't update it any more if there are still some of the cheaper one left next week will get one for my son
 
decided to take a punt on the Ultima 10.1
gonna give it to the wife hopefully she finds it easier to use than the laptop i got her last year.
getting a bit fed up with her blaming it for her lack of tecnical experience
and hopfully the daughter can use it to program her teska kitty (would be a nice bonus)

To be fair, if they are getting the right product then it's not really an issue. It's not miss-selling to simply have the wrong packaging but simply a confusing experience. As explained, it being a refurb it was possible to not come in original box.

I had one of the ultima 10.1 tablets a couple of years ago. Found it fine for everyday use.
Gave it to my nephew last year & he's still using it.

Bought another one for use with Elite Dangerous running rocat power grid.
For £50 I think it's worth it.

Due to edits the original post got distorted, hence I said I would shut up, a refurb product that is what you ordered, no matter what packaging is ok. just not for me.

I am sure that these will do people fine but the 30 day warranty, the issues that give rise to this clearance, it is a case of you get what you pay for and if your a light user that is fine.
 
Swapped my 10.1 over in the shop today with no problems, tried it there and it's been reset OK. Just waiting for it to charge up now before giving it a go tonight.
 
I was interested in an ultima and as it turned out so were 2 others in my immediate circle. So I got 3. All have been delivered this morning and are charging now. What I can say is that none of them came with microSD cards still in (hope springs eternal :) ) or with any cables apart from the mains charge adapter. So in each box, contents were: one tablet, 1 mains charger. I will get back to you with dead pixel test results, dust under screen, and battery test. 2 of the 3 were at zero charge upon delivery, while one was fully charged. I think Gibbo mentioned in another thread that these are fairly easy to root, so I'm looking forward to personally upgrading mine to Android 5, or generally just muck about with it. This will be my first tablet, so tbh it will be interesting come what may! :)
 
OK I got my 10 inch one today also ..no USB leads but its all good as my mobile phone charger fits it :).....not got a clue how to connect it to my Asus RT-N56U Router though ...as I intend to use the tablet with wireless and my Internet via Ethernet
 
i may root one of mine too and get a custom rom on it. not sure what one will work on these though
 
My Ultima 10.1 arrived this morning as well. As already said, mine only had the charger & tablet in the box (what I expected)

Having already owned one of these a couple of years ago I knew what to expect.
Came fully charged, only little problem I had was the language was set to Dutch so had to root around trying to remember where the language setting was. :D

Screen looks A1 condition, & apart from a couple of little marks on the back of the unit, it's in excellent condition.

For the price it's an ideal tablet, the last one I had is still running fine, my nephew has had it for just over a year.
 
Just received my Ultima 10.1. Just the power cable in the box. A few scuff marks and a smudgy screen but other than that it looks fine. I've plugged it in to charge and seems to be doing that nicely. Will have a play this evening.

I got it mostly to just shove in my rucksack and not worry too much if it is nicked or damaged. For £50 it will be fine for browsing free wifi at the pub.
 
Received 2 of the 10" ones today, all good, little scuff on one, screens are good, screen plastics still on, charged. One had a foreign dudes email but a quick factory reset and it was gone.

Will have a play around with it tonight. :)
