Tar stains on Alloys

Whats the best way to get rid of them?

My missus is selling her Audi TT 225 version and it needs a clean before we go looking at another car to replace it. The only thing thats anoying us is the dirty tar marks and we cant shift them... Any help would be welcome..

Tar & Glue remover, from pretty much any motor factors

Thanks, I suppose it was fairly obvious to use Tar remover to get rid of Tar on the alloys...

WD40 will work wonders for your tar removal woes!!!

A bodyshop next to where I work recommends the stuff to remove tar, and they use it themselves. Give it a try!

white spirit will work an absolute treat, and its cheap. So will nail varnish remover.
