Mr Mohinder sir,
You have some fine tat's there.
I have to ask, did the chest peice cause as much pain as the back peice?
I'm considering a chest peice but I'm unsure of design.

I assume the chest one would hurt like a mo-fo, as its right on top of the erm..chest bone thingy at the bottom of the neck

Love the tats all,
got 2 Dragons myself both on my upper arms ill post some pics when i get home
both designs were pinned to my wall for months before i decided they were the ones for me

That's a really interesting article, Balddog :)

And piggy, I know your tattoo looks impressive and big, but what with the size of you, it can't be any bigger than three inches top to bottom, surely? :p

Yeah...but still not come to any conclusions yet :o

So far its gonna be an asian themed landscape with a female character as the central piece. Im probably gonna have it cover the top half of my left arm, finishing just on the shoulder. Im still a bit scared its gonna be too big :o Im a big girl really..

Along with the female figure its gonna feature one of these somehow...

the background thing is causing a lot of trouble..Im not sure if its needed, or even possible to make the character fit the background...I wonder if its worth simply getting a character tattoo without anything around it..but id prefer a full scene..hmm lots still to think about.

I'd get a background personally, for a big piece like that. A very subtle one though.

Of course if you have it without, and later on decide you want one added, there's nothing stopping you. :)

Thats a good point about further addition...I was thinking i wanted to make it so it could be extended to a full sleeve if i ever wished to do so in the future..although for work reasons i probably wouldnt do that :o

the background thing...I was thinking something like this...its hard to see in this pic cos the woman is pretty big..theres some famous classical korean paintings that i really like..I was thinking maybe I could adapt one of those as a kind of background..

I thought the Japanese didn't like Tatts as well? What are you going to be doing there, working?

Palin doco covered that, he stayed in one of those coffin hotels and refused to accept people in with tats (gang related)
