you can't claim spectacles as an expense if your trade is photography.

Since you'd need them whether or not you did the job I too would suggest not claimable.

Not true, aka if you work at home and things like electric bill and make calls at home.
I do use my iPhone FOR photographic reasons, things i can't simply do with a Nokia 3210. But if its like you said, if i can claim it all, i will lol

I think we established that a couple of posts up.
And actually...I am just being thorough, after the cameras, lenses, macs, NAS, HDs, sample books etc i don't think i need to pay taxes for at least 2 years!
Just want to make sure what qualifies one object and not another.
