Teacher caught taking 19 kids on school trip in her tiny Renault Clio

Good thing that there was a sandwich shop 15 minutes from my school :)

Once I started getting my lunch there, I never paid for school dinners ever again, their sandwiches were awesome and didnt cost more than £2.

That's a tenner a week  Aren't school dinner more like a tenner for a month?

LOL no??? What school did you go to? My weekly school costs were £20 for dinners and bus fares. School meals were over £2, plus snacks during the afternoon break, easily £3 per day. Oh, and they served breakfast too - cereal, fruits and / or hash browns though those were only 10p each.

The sandwich shop sold far superior sandwiches at the same prices (around £1.60 - £2.20 each for a large bap with a heavenly filling), while nothing that the school made could match the quality.

I had packed lunch. Peanut butter sandwich and a cheese string and an kit kat and an apple, like 50p cost.

You missed out on so much, school dinners were definitely better than that :x

The desserts were lovely, bread pudding + custard and lemon meringues being my favorites.

Depends on the school I guess. At mine, you ordered a shepherds pie, and what you received was a cold pile of red-coloured mashed potatoes. I waited 30 minutes for that, on a 45 minute lunch break. Suffice it to say I was displeased.

Also, I'd cram myself into her hatchback, even if it is a bit small.

Oh, I always had 2 course meals available at my schools, a hot dinner plus a desert, or a sandwich bar. Even at the end of the lunch break the food was still hot when served.
