Looking for some advice.

I have had an interview all went OK and they want me to go back to talk more about my work and see some of it.

I am in a bit of a situation as most of the more complicated stuff I have done is part of my 'day job' and is in there repo's which are private and confidential.

I have asked if there is a demo project to do before hand to show then some of my skills.

If they dont get back to me what would you suggest would be a good backend (Laravel or RoR) project that I could crack on with within a weeks time limit after work.

And also tips on this in the interview would be good

Thanks

They shouldn't expect to see anything of your code at previous employers, for obvious reasons.

This is why it's useful to have your own GitHub repo with personal projects on, I have a bunch of plugins I've developed on mine. Gives you a massive leg up on the competition having something to show, bonus points if it's popular and used by other people.
