This is probably something I don't even need, but I want :D
So I have a HTPC with 780G mobo built in gfx etc plays blu-ray all lovely over HDMI (.iso). The sound goes over with the video via HDMI into an Onkyo SR607 and the best I can get is DTS. I have played with all the settings to my knowledge and I can't get that dam TrueHD to show up :(
I am using the latest PowerDVD10 Ultra and have all the settings correct (I think).
So is it a new GFX I need like the ATI HDXXXX that has HDMI audio lossless pass through? Or simply a new soundcard that will do the same?

I'm sure it is pretty simple and I have waded through loads of websites with no clear answer.

Any help will be much appreciated so I don't waste any more time on this unnecessary subject :p

The 780G doesnt do TrueHD, you need to get yourself something like a cheapo Radeon HD 5450.

Perfect, figured that's what it would be. So I can just connect the new GFX card and then use that and everything should be cool (after playing with some settings).
