Tell me some games to buy.

I've kind of been out of the mix but scanned these forums for ages. I just need to be recommended games I'll love. I like any type of game. More for my laziness just to remind me what has come out. Current games I've got are;

The orange box
Supreme Commander (I lost the expansion disc :\)
Mass Effect
Dawn of War
Fear
Neverwinter Nights 2
and a few oldies.

Plus people can chat about the games and what not. I just need a list.

My pc arrived today see... much to my impatience.

Is clear sky better after patches and mods? I had the first stalker, lost the disc, I'll try and recover it somehow... I did a lot of moving in unpleasant circumstances so lost track of a lot of things.

I totally forgot about the witcher! I do like DnD based games such as NWN2 and KOTOR so yes I will purchase your suggestions at one point.

Edit - I'm updating NWN2 just now actually. Taking its sweet time.

Company of Heroes, awesome RTS
Bioshock
Mass Effect
Fallout 3
Rome, Medieval 2 total war games

Are some of the games I've been playing (bioshock only today though

its pretty good)

GTA 4 is worth a look
Left 4 Dead is great for a couple of hours at a time online co-op/vs
Batman Arkham Asylum is pretty good but not very long.

Those should keep you busy

Oh yeah, for a change of pace Anno 1404 is bloody good, a trading/city sim

I plan on getting most of those, except GTA IV... It's too much of a system hog I've heard and can't be bothered.

I'll wait for L4D2

And anno 1404 sounds good.

If you haven't played Bioshock yet you have to grab it (for £5!!). The game is imo the best 1st person shooter (single player) in ages. Very deep gameplay, interesting story, and amazing design/environment. Not quiet as many "HOLY CRAP!!" moments as FEAR but there are a few points where things pop out of a dark corner. Loved it.
