Which Sim City?

Sim City 4 graphics are poor and dated.

and Societies is just to shallow.

there's 3 different versions, of City Life, normal, world edition and 2008 edition, are the latter all expansion packs or do they work on there own? and what improvements to have over the vanilla version?

It just looks distorted because of the isemetricness.

and I bet if you zoomed in it'd look crap.

I'm borrying Societies from my mate so I'll see how it goes.

are there plans for SC5 anytime soon?

it seems to run fine, and I'm using 64-bit vista.

The camera movement is very jerky though.

Interestingly enough, the developers of the city life sequel are on simtropolis all the time asking for advise on what they did wrong and what the fans would like to see. After EA so royally screwed us Simcity fans with Societies, the chaps from Monte Cristo seemed to have listened and the new game is looking fantastic. Might be an idea to wait for that.

when you say new game, are you talking about City Life 2008 edition?

could someone kind of say why City Life isn't as good as SC4, ignoring graphics, because I can't see anything massively better.

tbh, I'm used to 3D games now, and the last city builder I played was SimCity 2000, so whatever I get i'll be happy.
